Innovation Safari Training
Develop the skills to explore, design and activate innovation
Innovation Safari Training programs are designed to equip professionals with the mindset, tools and capabilities needed to explore innovation ecosystems and transform insights into real projects.
Training is an essential component of the Innovation Safari Experience. It complements the experiential learning of Innovation Safaris with structured knowledge, practical tools and collaborative exercises that help participants apply innovation principles.
Through these programs, participants learn how to observe emerging trends, understand technologies, generate ideas and activate innovation initiatives with confidence.
Innovation cannot be learned only from theory. It must be experienced, observed and applied.
The goal is simple: transform explorers into innovation leaders.

Sherpa Training
Become a Certified Innovation Safari Sherpa
Sherpas are the architects of the Innovation Safari experience. They design the journey, select the hotspots and ensure that each Safari generates meaningful outcomes for the Explorers (participants).
Sherpa Training prepares experienced professionals to design and lead Innovation Safaris using the Innovation Safari methodology.
Participants in Sherpa Training learn how to:
- Design complete Innovation Safari Paths with clear purpose and outcomes
- Identify and select relevant innovation hotspots based on strategic fit
- Align each Safari with organizational challenges and opportunities
- Design and structure high-impact activities across the Learn – Design – Engage journey
- Guide Explorers through a coherent and meaningful innovation experience
- Using the Innovation Safari Canvas©
Each participant designs a complete Innovation Safari as part of the program, ready to be executed in a real context.
Innovation Safari Sherpa certification provides access to the global Innovation Safari ecosystem, visibility within the network, and opportunities to collaborate on future Innovation Safaris.
Hotspot Guide Training
Bring innovation ecosystems to life
Hotspot Guides are the facilitators and activators of the Innovation Safari experience. They are not just presenters. They are the connection between Explorers and real innovation environments.
They guide experiences inside real hotspots and help Explorers understand not only what is happening, but why it matters.
Guide Training prepares experts, researchers and ecosystem leaders to deliver structured, high-impact experiences within Innovation Hotspots.
Participants in the Hotspot Guide Training learn how to:
- Structure and deliver a complete hotspot experience, not just a visit
- Connect technology, research and real-world applications with clarity
- Facilitate meaningful dialogue with Explorers
- Translate complex innovation into practical and relevant insights
- Activate interaction, reflection and engagement during the visit
Final outcome: you deliver a real, structured and high-impact experience in the Innovation Hotspot.
Each Guide works on their own hotspot, designing a real experience that can be delivered as part of an Innovation Safari.
Explorer Skills Training
Develop innovation capabilities through experiential learning
Innovation Safari Training also focuses on developing the capabilities that professionals need to navigate uncertain and rapidly changing environments.

Learning Through Experience
Innovation Safari Training follows a simple principle: innovation is best learned through experience.
Participants observe real innovation ecosystems, interact with innovators and apply what they learn through structured exercises and collaborative challenges.
The result is a learning experience that is immersive, practical and immediately applicable.
Innovation Safari is not just a training program.
It is a platform for developing the innovators and explorers of the future.
